It’s imperative that the public transport of Zurich remains inclusive and accessible to all individuals. This involves ensuring that the latest tram, VBZ “Flexity,” incorporates barrier-free features for conveying color and sound messages (next to the most prominent features like being able to enter and leave smoothly of course) both inside and outside the vehicle.
To support the “Obstacle-free On The Road” campaign, an action week allowed people to experience the new tram, understand its unique features, and simulate challenges faced by using aids. This raises awareness of accessibility issues in public transportation.
In this significant leap forward, I took the initiative to optimize our website and created diverse graphics, crafted user-friendly video tutorials, and devised innovative strategies to enhance the website’s accessibility further.
